eDhumashi.mv is the official e-commerce platform under eDhumashi, promoting locally made Maldivian products. eDhumashi is a registered business in the Maldives.

The products you will find in eDhumashi are products by local entrepreneurs using locally caught fish and seafood products. The purchase you make on eDhumashi supports the livelihood of small local businesses in the Maldives.

Using the Website

When utilizing our services through the eDhumashi website, you are entering into an agreement with us, and by doing so, you commit to adhering to the following terms. Failure to comply with these terms may result in your exclusion from using eDhumashi's services.

By using our services, you agree not to:

Violate any laws, regulations, or our policies: You must conduct your activities within the boundaries of the laws and regulations of the Republic of the Maldives, as well as any specific policies set forth by eDhumashi. Any infringement of these legal requirements and policies will be considered a breach of your agreement with us.
2. Fail to pay for items without a valid reason: You are obligated to fulfill your financial commitments when making purchases through our platform. Any non-payment should only occur under valid and justifiable circumstances, as unreasonable or unjust withholding of payment constitutes a violation of our terms.
3. Post offensive, false, or harmful content: You must refrain from posting any content that is offensive, untrue, or detrimental in nature. Such content can include but is not limited to materials that are abusive, defamatory, or damaging to others' reputation or well-being.
4. Engage in fraudulent activities, spam, or use harmful software: Any involvement in fraudulent activities, the distribution of spam, or the use of malicious software that may compromise the security, integrity, or functionality of the website is strictly prohibited. These actions contravene our terms and are subject to penalties.

Shipping

Currently door step delivery is available only withing greater Male' area.

Inactive and Unverified Accounts

Upon registration, you will receive an email or SMS with instructions for verifying your account within a specified timeframe. Failure to complete the verification process within this timeframe may result in restricted access to our services. Inactive accounts, defined by prolonged periods of inactivity, may be subject to deactivation.

Right to Refuse Service

We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone in violation of our terms or conditions.

Prices, Fees, and Taxes

Product prices are inclusive of taxes. Prices at checkout include all applicable fees.

Listings

All listings are made by sellers and hence:

1. We are not responsible for the accuracy of product listings.

1. If you believe that the product delivered to you is spoiled/damaged or does not refer to the listed description, you may open a dispute regarding the products within 3 days or receiving the product. Refer to the dispute section for more information.

Condition and Specifications of Purchase

Review product descriptions carefully. Returns are accepted for applicable cases only. Please refer to the Refund and returns section.

Disclosure of Personal Details

We may use your personal information for identification, shipping, and enhancing your experience. 

All online payments made on eDhumashi are processed by Bank of Maldives using Online Payment Gateway Service.. eDhumashi does not store or have any access to users' card information. Refer to our Privacy Policy for more information.

Contacting, Messaging, and Recording

We may contact you for various reasons and record conversations for quality control.

Limitation of Liability

We do our best to provide secure services, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted service.

Both parties pledge to honor and maintain strict confidentiality agreements.
